Arrival in Petrozavodsk by train from Moscow or St.Petersburg. Meet the English-speaking guide at the train station. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation (free early check-in is not guaranteed). Breakfast on own. Departure for the ice-fishing trip to the frozen lakes of Karelia, with the guide and instructor. Brief introduction of ice-fishing, showing how to make ice-holes and how to use fishing equipment. Practising various types of ice-fishing including lure and bait ice-fishing. Lunch outdoors, including complimentary drink of the local liquor. Return to Petrozavodsk. Free evening.

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet the instructor at the hotel. Transfer to the lake. Practising ice-fishing. Lunch outdoors. Transfer back to Petrozavodsk. Free time until the train to Moscow (departs at ~19:00) or St.Petersburg (departs at ~23:00).
